Not sure what your skin needs? Our personalised bespoke facial is a luxurious, results driven treatment specifically tailored to you, designed around your skin’s needs on that day.

This includes a combination of tried-and-tested skincare techniques and technologies from ultrasonic cleansing, mild peels to enzyme resurfacers, micro-current, micro-dermabrasion, photo-dynamic light therapy (LED), vitamin infusion, lymphatic drainage, radio-frequency skin tightening and no-needle mesotherapy (electroporation) as well a cocktail of serums and masks.

After a thorough consultation, your therapist will handpick and expertly combine a customised treatment entirely unique to you. 

If extractions are included within your bespoke treatment, you can expect to be slightly red and blotchy immediately afterwards. It’s important to fully understand that advanced skin treatments are often stimulating so some mild, temporary reactions are occasionally expected and will be discussed during your consultation. 

For pre-party ‘red carpet ready’ we avoid the more stimulating aspects to leave your skin calm, bright, plump and glowing.

This treatment is like a personal training session for your skin, but we’re not going to ‘work it hard’, always progressive never aggressive, gentle yet effective, restoring not stripping. After an in-depth consultation and analysis we’ll identify your key concerns from how your skin is presenting on that day and craft the most effective treatment by layering up the most suitable technologies and ingredients to support the health of your skin. This is great as a one off treatment before a special event, to prepare the skin for more advanced treatments or as part of a course of treatment to restore vitality to the skin. 

DECIDING ON YOUR TREATMENT

You will have a thorough consultation with your practitioner before undergoing any treatment. This allows you to decide whether the treatment is right for you with the advice of a skincare professional. Our professionals are here to ensure you make the right decision for you; we will only go ahead with a treatment if we believe it is in your best interests.

The goal of our treatments is improvement, not perfection. All MD Skincare treatments are elective cosmetic procedures focused on giving you the healthiest, best version of your skin that you can possibly have.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

  • We will carry out a full consultation and take your medical history. This is our opportunity to make sure that the treatments we recommend are suitable, and your opportunity to tell us about what your skin goals are. We will talk to you about all options, and make sure you are completely comfortable before going ahead.
  • We will explain how the different treatments work, how they feel on your skin, how your skin may look immediately after treatment and the days following along with the all important aftercare and post-treatment advice, which includes your at home skin regime.
  • We have a duty of care to ensure you are fully informed before undergoing any treatment. Once you’re happy (and we’re happy) we will make you comfortable and commence your treatment, talking you through it step-by-step. Need some more time to think? No problem at all, take your time. We’ll send you all the relevant information so that you can come back to us when you’re ready.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY TREATMENT?

Although our aim is healthy, plump and glowy skin, some of our treatments carry minimal downtime, so you can expect to be slightly red and blotchy immediately afterwards. Some peels and other treatments may also leave the skin pink with a mild sunburnt like appearance.  It is important to fully understand that advanced skin treatments are often stimulating so some mild, temporary reactions are occasionally expected and will be discussed during your consultation.

There are very few, very minimal after effects and many of our clients are able to return to their normal activities following their treatment.

You ‘may’ experience:

  • Skin redness and flushing.
  • Tightness, itching and tenderness.
  • Erythema (heat in the skin) can occur but will resolve in a few hours.
  • Effects will usually typically resolve within hours and many people are able to return to their normal activities.

Avoid the following for the first 24-48 hours:

  • Strenuous exercise & activities that may cause excessive perspiration.
  • Extreme temperatures such as intense sunlight, hot baths or showers.
  • Using a sunbed, spa, sauna or swimming pool.
  • Drinking alcohol.
  • Use of Retinol (Topical Vitamin A), Exfoliating scrubs or acids like Glycolic Acid.
  • Facial hair removal; electrolysis, waxing, bleaching, depilatory creams and laser for at least 72 hours.

We also recommend:

  • Follow the aftercare advice provided by your practitioner.
  • Gently washing the treated area, but do not rub or massage the face for 24 hours.
  • Cleanse using a mild cleanser. 
  • Apply a sunscreen daily minimum SPF30+.
  • Make-up can be applied once the skin has settled.
